Veterans Day Ceremony on the Green

Come thank our servicemen & women for their courage and sacrifice

by John Vogt - November 10, 2015

Tomorrow is Veterans Day. On this day we pause to give thanks to the men and women who have served in the armed forces. We owe these men and women a debt that we can never repay. Thank you Veterans for the sacrifices you have made. We are forever grateful.

We hope that each of our Home Page viewers will make every effort to attend the special ceremony that will begin tomorrow, Wednesday, November 11th at 11:00 AM on The Green in Wellsboro. This is an opportunity for each of us to sacrifice a few minutes of our day to say, “thank you.” This special Veterans Day Ceremony will feature the Wellsboro Men’s Chorus performing patriotic music.

Following the ceremony, everyone is invited to come to the newly remodeled VFW POST at 465 Kelsey Street for a soft Grand Opening and Lunch provided by the VFW Auxiliary. (Rumor has it there could be some AMAZING chili!)

Please show your support tomorrow for these heroes who have made enormous sacrifices to protect our freedom. We salute and honor our veterans and thank them with all of our hearts for their service. These men and women are our grandpas and grandmas, dads and moms, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, friends and neighbors.

Thanks for watching today’s broadcast and sharing this feature with friends and family. Please help spread the word on this special Veterans Day Ceremony.
