Troy Jr/Sr High School Prom

Troy Jr/Sr High School Prom

by Veronica Seymour - May 17, 2022

On Saturday, May 14th the Troy Sale Barn was transformed into the Enchanted Forrest for the 2022, Troy Jr/Sr High School Prom. It was a magical setting the stage had elegant trees, flowers and lighting, with a candy bar, snack bar, and music by local DJ Shane Wilbur.

I had not been to a prom since my own 1991, I know I am dating myself but it was fun to attend. I felt like I was back in the days at my own dances. The girls were all decked out to the nines and the boys were cool as ever. The thing I noted was the beautiful photo area, unlike when we went to school where you had professional photographers come in, they had a photo booth area setup, the boys were more into this than the girls it made me chuckle a bit.

The Junior Prom Court was presented Grace Andrews was escorted by Mason King, Chloe Gilliland was escorted by Mason Woodward, Savannah Spencer was escorted by Kory Schucker, Sara Reed was escorted by Caiden Martin, Jennifer King was escorted by Jacob Gormley, Tyra Williams was escorted by John DeLosa, Magdalena Burdick was escorted by Shane Austin, Sarah Chamberlain was escorted by Josh Isbell, Isis Lyon was escorted by Drew Davy, Ashlynn Husted was escorted by Peyton Bellows and Caelyn Pine was escorted by Blake Shedden.

Once they all took to the stage the envelopes were opened and the winners were announced, Queen Isis Lyon and King Kory Schucker.

It was a beautiful night for these kids and I enjoyed being a part of it. The senior class advisor this year is Janna Dibble, the junior class advisor was Brenda Vogel, and they all did an outstanding job. Shane Wilbur local Wiggle 100 DJ did a great job with the entertainment for the night as well. Congratulations again to the Queen Isis Lyon and King Kory Schucker.
