It’s never too late to learn something new, and the First Presbyterian Church in Troy encourages this with their Adult Music Class. Designed for learners of all experience levels, the class offers a welcoming environment for anyone interested in expanding their musical knowledge or discovering a new passion. Instructed by Robert Oldroyd, these lessons cover music theory, rhythm, styles and genres of music, and so much more. The workbook that accompanies the class is only $5. Open to adults of all ages—and even high school students—the Adult Music Class is a wonderful opportunity to develop a new skill, sharpen existing talents, and connect with others through the joy of music.
