Troy Community Gives Blood To Save Lives
The season of giving continued into January in Troy, as the Trojan Masonic Lodge #306 hosted a Red Cross blood drive at the Troy Fire Department on Tuesday, January 7th.
According to the Red Cross, about 29,000 units of red blood cells are needed in the U.S. every day, and the blood type most often requested by hospitals is type O. To find other Red Cross blood donation events near you, visit www.redcross.org.
