Towanda Brings “High School Musical” to the Stage
The Towanda High School Drama Department is “all in this together” as they prepare for their upcoming production of High School Musical! You do not want to miss your chance to cheer on the Wildcats in this hilarious musical experience.
It is evident how much hard work these students have poured into this show—and how much fun they’ve had along the way. “My favorite part of acting with this cast has been becoming the mentor that I looked up to when I first started,” actor Jackson Frederick expressed. “I started my ninth grade year drug in by a couple of seniors that year, and I looked up to them with my whole heart and soul. They made me the person I am and now that I’m getting up there in the grades I get to start being that mentor to all these young kids and getting to still play a lead role while trying to help people grow and create the love that I have for this musical and department.”
You can catch this performance Thursday, March 26th, Friday, March 27th, and Saturday, March 28th at 7pm, as well as Sunday, March 29th at 2pm. Opening night (Thursday, March 26th) also included the 24th Annual Frank Joyce Memorial spaghetti dinner prior to the show.
Tickets for the performance are $8 for students and $10 for adults.
Cost to attend the dinner prior to opening night is $12 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens. Children under 5 are free.
