Tioga County Puzzled By Photographers

by Joshua Allen - March 4, 2020

For 9 years Pop’s Culture Shoppe in Wellsboro has hosted a local annual Photo Contest. Each year they call for artistic images that capture a recognizable site, or iconic view of Tioga County. The winners of the contest have their photos turned into puzzles. Plus, they receive a head-shot and a brief biography printed on the box, $50, and three complimentary puzzles! In addition to the benefits for the winners, proceeds from the puzzle sales benefit the arts and community projects

Pop’s Culture is proud to announce this year’s line of puzzles, so be sure to watch today’s broadcast to see all of the winning puzzles. If you stay tuned, you’ll also get to listen to three time contest winner, Russell Geare, talk about his experience and why it is important to him to enter each year.

If you’d like more information you can visit the store at 25 Main Street in Wellsboro, call them at 570-723-4263, visit their website, or email info@popscultureshoppe.com. If you’d like to submit a photo of your own, you can submit up to 10 photos through the end of the year by emailing info@popscultureshoppe.com or by dropping of a digital copy via a media drive or similar storage device in the store. Just be sure all the photos you submit are high resolution with a minimum DPI of 150.

The Homepage Network encourages you to test your talents, capture some of this area’s local beauty, and share it with others. Thank you for reading today’s article and watching today’s broadcast.
