Tigers Claw Ahead For Fourth Quarter Victory, 72-55
On Friday, January 31st the Wellsboro boys basketball team hosted the North Penn-Mansfield Tigers – and it was a neck and neck nail-biter. Wellsboro took an early lead and held it going into halftime – 34-30. However, the Tiger defense rallied in the fourth quarter, locking down the Hornets and pulling ahead to win – 72-55.
Both teams will be back in action this Wednesday – the Tigers hosting the Athens Wildcats and the Hornets hosting the Wyalusing Rams.
