Things To Do When Winter Won’t Leave

by Home Page Staff - April 6, 2018

Tioga County is ready and itching for spring, but the weather isn’t cooperating yet. Cabin fever may feel like it’s settling in, but there are a variety of ways to spend your time indoors around our area if you don’t feel like braving the cold. Stop by Grubby’s Games in Wellsboro, pick up a retro console and play classic games. If you want a break from technology, Pop’s Culture Shoppe welcomes you to come and play! Purchase a new board game or card game to try with your friends and family, or join in on one of their fun event nights!

Warm up and fill up at one of our incredible local restaurants, or curl up with a book at one of our libraries – like the Mansfield Free Library or Green Free Library.

If you’re looking for action, exercise at the Tioga County Branch YMCA in Mansfield, or attempt the climbing wall at Mansfield University. If climbing isn’t your thing, roll on over to Maple Lanes in Mansfield for a game of bowling.

The Arcadia Theatre is showing a variety of movies – there are many fun titles out now! Catch a flick this evening.

At the end of the day, you can always come home and enjoy a relaxing time with friends and family. Come up with something fun to do together!
