There’s A New Hero In Town!

Helping save our citizens from bad food choices!

by John Zavett - April 21, 2017

Don’t do it! Don’t make a bad food choice. It’s time to hop in your ride and come on down to Johnny’z Hot Rod Café for a change of pace.

When you think of Hot Rods and food, the image is the typical greasy burger and fry joint. Not here! Super Sporting an Ameri-Mex menu (affectionately referred to as Gringo Style), they’re offering up a family friendly culinary experience in Wellsboro.

The minute you enter this brightly colored motor-head themed establishment on Main Street, your senses are greeted by the aromas of slow roasted meats, fresh cut vegetables & house-made sauces… all ready to prepare your Burrito, Tacos, Rice & Bean Bowl, Loaded Nachos, Salads, Loaded Potato and Sandwiches (Wraps and Pitas are coming soon). Grab a drink from the cooler or order up a flavor shot Lemonade or Iced Tea, settle back with a laminated menu and dry-erase maker and put together the meal that suits your individual taste (it’s an interactive experience with numerous options to “Make It Your Own”). Choose one of their in-house baked sweet treats at the counter and before you know it, your taste buds will be delighted.

For the “Smokin’ Hot Hotty”… Everyone loves a Burnout! Burrito that is… Johnny’z Hot Rod Café is the home of the Burnout Burrito. A flavor packed, sinus clearing experience that’s sure to smoke your tires. Hot not your cup of tea? No worries, they’ll gladly detune it for you.

So, shift into high gear and find out for yourself what all the hype is about. Johnny’z Hot Rod Café, 76 Main Street, Wellsboro. Check ‘em out on Facebook to preview their menu online.
