Today is Wellsboro’s last First Friday of the summer! First Fridays are a way of bringing the community together through retail and entertainment in Wellsboro. Every first Friday of each of the summer months, retailers stay open until 8:00 p.m. During that time, different types of entertainment take place on Main Street. These events are free of charge and may include music, face painting, caricatures and scavenger hunts.

The 21st Annual Bucktail Reunion is also taking place this weekend. Civil War soldier reenactors will be walking around town on Friday evening and camping at Woodland Park. They’ll have exhibits set up on The Green on Saturday. Don’t miss out on this historical occasion!
