The Phantom of the Opera Is Here
Next weekend at Straughn Auditorium Mansfield University presents The Phantom of the Opera. Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Lyrics by Charles Hart / additional lyrics by Richard Stilgoe. Book by Richard Stilgoe and Andrew Lloyd Webber. The musical is based on the novel Le Fantome de l’Opera by Gaston Leroux.
The lead as Phantom is Carter Ray Route, a local from Canton, PA who is currently a sophomore at MU. The dates and times are March 2, 3, and 4 at 7:30 p.m and March 5 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets prices are Adults $18, Srs/HS Students $12, and Child $8. Tickets can be purchased online at mansfield.booktix.com or at the door.
