Teachers Overcome Challenges Amidst Pandemic
Covid-19 has brought many challenges into everyone’s life. Teachers, specifically, have had to transition to a whole new way of learning and teaching. From overcoming connection issues, online education, masks, plexiglass, and so on, teachers have been some of the world’s greatest heroes in caring for their students and future generations.
In today’s feature, Home Page anchor and correspondent Johanna Vogt spoke with 3rd-grade teachers Hannah Miller, Kristopher Davis, and Paige Weston about their past year of teaching. All the teachers agree that this school year has been very different from standard years. The difficulties of Covid-19 have forced both the students and teachers to be highly flexible to different ways of teaching. All three teachers note how proud they are of all their students in being willing to learn differently and successfully. Mr. Davis mentions in the broadcast that Covid-19 has actually brought him and his students closer, where they have built excellent relationships with one another.
The Home Page staff wants to remind all Home Page viewers to continue recognizing teachers for how hard they have worked to make this school year possible.
