Tioga County is full of fun opportunities and unique experiences. Today, Drew Patrick is taking us on a trip back in time with The Ole’ Covered Wagon Tours. The Ole Covered Wagon Tours is a family owned and operated business. They provide guided tours of the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon area in a horse-drawn covered wagon – similar to those used in the 1800’s. The tour guides are fluent in the history of the Canyon going back to the 19th century. Enjoy the scenic views and rich history of our county as you travel down the Pine Creek Rail trail. “It’s an interesting ride, it’s very set back,” says Co-Owner, Russ Daggett. “Not much has changed [in the area] since the late 1700s to 1800s. When you get in the wagon with a team of horses up front…it sets you back in time.”

A wide variety of wildlife can be seen on the tour, including bobcats, whitetail deer, otters, mink, eagles, woodchucks and more! Specialty rides, like Cookout Wagon Rides and Waterfall Cookout Wagon Rides are also available.
