Summertime Styles for Bad Hair Days

Quick and easy tips from Jeanette's Hair Care to style you for summer!

by Johanna Vogt, Jessica Smith - July 8, 2016

Johanna Vogt and Jessica Smith visited Jenna Butler at Jeannette’s Hair Care in Wellsboro to get some tutorials on three easy hairstyles that are perfect for summer.

During the summer, with all the craziness of life, it can be challenging to find time to deal with your demanding hair. But there is hope. The three hairstyles that Jenna showed us are fun, but quick and perfect for all types of hair.

The Braided Half-Knot:
This half up-half down hairstyle is taken to the next level but still very simple. After its ponied half-up, it’s then braided and twisted around to form a cute bun that is perfect for the summer.

Half-Up Twist:
This is a very simple hairstyle that is perfect for short hair but also works with long hair as well. You take half of your hair, twist it, and then bobby pin it in the back to give your hair some volume for a cute style.

Wrap Around Braid:
This style is based on a French braid. To begin the braid, part your hair off to the side. French braid your hair around your head until all the hair is combined. Then finish by braiding the rest like a typical braid. This look is cool for the hot summer days.

All of us at Wellsboro Home Page want to thank Jeannette’s Hair Care for hosting us, and Jenna Butler for showing us cute hairstyles for the summer. We encourage all of you ladies to watch this feature and try these hairstyles at home this summer.
