Students vs Faculty – Pregame Smack!

by Drew Patrick - March 9, 2016

On Saturday, March 12 – come see the students of the girls and boys basketball teams battle the faculty from the Wellsboro Area School District in the 5th Annual Casey L Patrick Memorial Basketball Game. Along with the game, there will be a Chinese auction, a 50-50 foul shot competition, and many more surprises you won’t want to miss!

Price of admission is $4 for adults – kids under 5 are free. The game will take place at 7:00PM in the Wellsboro High School gymnasium. Proceeds and donations go to the Casey L. Patrick Memorial Scholarship Fund at the high school.

In today’s feature, Drew Patrick meets up with members of the student & faculty teams for pre-game analysis, expectations and smack talk! “First of all, I think it’s a great charity.” says Middle School Principal, Mike Pietropola. “It’s a great opportunity for a bunch of people to get together and raise money for her foundation. But the second thing I enjoy quite honestly is taking it to my own two children.”

“It’s always fun competing against the faculty,” says Dalton Prough, a member of the student team. “Having a good time – it’s just a great time to go out and play some basketball.”
