Starlite Band Has the Deane Center Swinging
Over the weekend, the Wellsboro community also held its own holiday celebration – Christmas on Main Street! Businesses around Wellsboro featured the famous Shiny Brite ornaments and Wellsboro’s glass-making history. Shoppers enjoyed deals from local stores and other activities, including pictures with reindeer and horse-drawn wagon rides.
As part of the Wellsboro Christmas on Main Street celebration, HPN News, and Christine A. Moore Millinery sponsored a “step back into the 1940s” concert and an evening of swinging tunes with the STARLITE BAND!
Director of the band Thomas Kowalik and local musician Rick Dogenaro said they love playing at the Deane Center in Wellsboro.
