Mark your calendars for the Homeschool Info Night, a significant event hosted by Christ Church, on June 25th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This time is a wonderful opportunity for all to delve deeper into the world of homeschooling.

The Director of Springbrook Christian Academy, Lauren Novak, joined Home Page Vice-President Sara Vogt in the studio to discuss the event and its importance to the community.

Lauren is very familiar with the excellence of schooling. She has a B.S. in Biology from Penn State University and an M.ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Bloomsburg University. She is passionate about assisting your family in pursuing excellence in a Christ-centered education.

This year, Christ Church opened Springbrook Christian Academy, a unique hybrid offering of education combining homeschool and in-school classes. It runs for 34 weeks, from September to May, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, providing all core and elective coursework. Then, on Monday and Friday, you can bring your students to school in the building or do the work from home.

Christ Church has two other programs that enrich homeschooling. HEM stands for Homeschool Enrichment Ministry and the Homeschool C0-OP. All three of the programs put an arm around students and their parents to have the best outcome.
