Ski Sawmill is a great learn-to-ski mountain

by John Vogt - February 11, 2014

Today’s feature story is part two – in a three part series with Tim Morey, our outdoor adventure correspondent on Ski Sawmill. Ski Sawmill is a great learn-to-ski mountain. They have a great staff of instructors that can teach you how to Ski or Snow-Board from start to finish. They also have a wide variety of slopes on the mountain to meet the needs of a beginner or a seasoned expert.

In today’s feature Tim and Ski Sawmill instructor Laura Young will show you what it’s like to visit Ski Sawmill as a brand new skier. Laura covers everything you would need to know to get started. So, if you have been hesitant to take that first step to learn how to ski and experience the great outdoors in our area like never before… today’s feature video is just for you. There are no surprises and no one is going to leave you on the mountain to find your own way down. Laura will make sure we are good to go before ever leaving your side. That’s one of the great things that makes Ski Sawmill different. They are there for you every step of the way.

Laura covers everything from filling out the paperwork and fitting your skis up to the point when it’s time to head out on your own to enjoy some of the best snow making and best grooming anywhere. You won’t be facing the mountain terrified but equipped with the right instruction and confidence to enjoy the full skiing experience at Ski Sawmill Family Resort.
