A Message to the Blossburg Community
During these troubling times, I would like to say thank you to everyone who has offered to volunteer to help their neighbors. Some say that a crisis brings out the worst in people, but somehow in Blossburg, it always seems to bring out the best in us. Although we have to stay physically away from one another, in many ways we have never been closer.
If you are in need of basic necessities or are feeling disconnected, please call (570) 360-9773, leave a message with your name, address, phone number and reason for call. You can also join the Facebook group – Blossburg Together.
If you are elderly or at high risk, we have volunteers in our community willing to deliver food and prescriptions to your home. Please stay home. You have taken care of people all of your life, now it is our younger generations turn to take care of you.
Remember, we are all in this together, so please make a list of people you haven’t talked to in awhile and give them a call. Staying connected is important. Together we will get through this.
