Rallying for Bev!

by Sara Vogt - September 20, 2018

On this broadcast, Home Page correspondent Johanna Vogt talked with Michele Duffy and Jessica Synder about an upcoming opportunity to support a member of our community. This benefit auction and dinner is for Michele’s sister, Beverly (Gillum) Willsea, daughter of the late Dr. David Gillum.

Beverly was recently diagnosed with Glioblastoma, a very aggressive form of brain cancer. She will soon be undergoing both radiation and chemotherapy and will have many medical appointments to attend, all of which are very costly. All proceeds of this benefit will go towards medical and treatment expenses.

This benefit will take place at the First Presbyterian Church on 130 Main Street in Wellsboro, PA on Saturday, October 13th with the auction beginning at 1:00 PM concluding with the dinner from 4 PM to 7 PM. To attend this dinner to support Beverly at time the ticket prices are as follow: adults $8 and children 10 and under are $4. Tickets can also be purchased at The Native Bagel.
