Rainbow Riders Gallop into Another Exciting Season
Rainbow Riders is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing equine assisted activities to individuals with disabilities from ages 6 to 60. The farm is home to many horses young and old, all with their own unique names and personalities. As the weather begins to warm up, Rainbow Riders is gearing up to begin their 2025 season. April 26th marks the farm’s Volunteer Day, which serves as a great opportunity to learn about how to help out on the farm, meet the new horses that arrived over the winter, or refresh your memory on volunteering needs if you’ve done so previously. There are multiple volunteering opportunities that occur Monday through Saturday, as lessons run from nine to noon.
Another upcoming event that you don’t want to miss is the annual Game-A-Thon Fundraiser held at Alparon Park on September 28th.
