The STSD Free Summer Lunch Program for 2022 officially kicked off on June 28th!

To help ensure that kids don’t go hungry while school is out of session, free and nutritious meals are available for children and teens 18 and younger. You may pick up a meal between 11 am and noon at Blossburg Elementary School, 113 Hannibal Street, Blossburg on the following dates.
* June 28-29-30
* July 5-6-7
* July 11-12-13-14-15
* July 19-20-21
* July 25-26-27-28-29
* August 2-3

No registration needed, students are able to come directly in using the parent pickup door (DOOR “S”) at the Blossburg Elementary building near the playground. Meals will be either hot or cold and made fresh each day of camp!

If you would like to see what our lunch meal is offered, selections will be posted on the “NUTRISLICE” app weekly with the day’s meals we will be having.

To follow the Pennsylvania Dept Education required guidelines for the summer meals, we are asking that students consume meals either in the cafeteria area or they are able to go outside and enjoy their meal in the pavilion under the shade, picnic style or in the surrounding lawn areas. Students must be present and meals will not be pre bagged. Parents accompanying their child/ren are welcome to pack a lunch and join their students.
