Pine Creek Rail Trail Project Receives $30,000 Check
On Wednesday, August 17 the Pine Creek Rail Trail / Marsh Creek Greenway Project received a $30,000 check from National Fuel Gas Company Foundation.
Carly Manino of National Fuel presented the check to Deb Bigley, Marsh Creek Greenway Planning Specialist at the future home of the Patterson Trailhead and Welcome Center.
Others present for the presentation of the check included: National Fuel Team members Ian Vranich and Jim Westbrook, County Commissioners Mark Hamilton and Eric Coolidge, Assistant Chief Clerk of Tioga County Marc Rice, Tioga County Planning Director Kaye Aumick, and Executive Director of Tioga County Partnership for Community Health Sue Sticklin.
Many local and national companies support the Pine Creek Rail Trail project for the future enjoyment of the Pine Creek Rail Trail.
Editor’s note: “Many of us hike, bike, and walk the Pine Creek Rail Trail presently, but when the trail begins in Wellsboro, this will open doors for the locals and tourists who visit Tioga County.” – Sara Vogt
