Home Page has had the privilege of working with film producer Gale Largey in the past promoting his film THE LESSONS OF SISTER VICTORIA.
What brings us together on today’s broadcast is the joint promotional efforts for the PEOPLE OF HONOR film presentation by director Gale Largey. Mountain Home Magazine, KC101 Radio, and The Home Page Network have come together to sponsor this special event.
This unique and important film honoring THE GREATEST GENERATION will be presented at 7:30 PM on May 24th at the Deane Center in Wellsboro. Admission is Free – All donations will go to Goodies for Our Troops in Wellsboro, PA who has been serving our troops since 2005.
An important component of the evening will be telling the story of how our Tioga County Heros helped win WWII. Please help us get the word out to area Veterans and their families about this event and encourage them to attend. CANYON COUNTRY CABS and the Oldham family have very generously donated their bus that has hook-ups for 2 wheelchairs PLUS room for another 14 passengers to pick up VETERANS and their families who cannot drive after dark or don’t have a car, bring them to the Deane Center for the documentary and reception, and then take them home. Reservations must be made on a FIRST COME/FIRST SERVED basis by calling 570-662-5601 or emailing goodies@ptd.net.
Businesses in the area are being very generous in donating food and beverages for the reception following the film.
