Operation Free Christmas Tree Blesses Community
Victory Church in Troy hosted its annual Operation Free Christmas Tree event last Wednesday, December 4th, with more than 100 trees given away free of charge. In addition to the trees, there was hot cocoa and cookies on hand to warm up and sweeten the deal. Home Page cameras checked in with volunteers and members of the community to ask what Operation Free Christmas Tree means to them.
This was Victory’s second year holding the tree giveaway at Sk8Zone in Troy’s Alparon Park, where they also opened up the doors for a free skate party. An evening of family fun was had by all in attendance.
