HAZARDOUS WEATHER CONDITIONS

Tonight: Snow showers. Widespread blowing snow. Low around 13. Northwest wind around 17 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Wednesday: Snow showers likely. Widespread blowing snow. Cloudy, with a high near 22. Wind chill values as low as -5. Blustery, with a northwest wind 17 to 24 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

Wednesday Night: A slight chance of snow showers. Areas of blowing snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 13. Wind chill values as low as zero. Blustery, with a northwest wind 15 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

The Mayor of Wellsboro has announced a Snow Emergency in effect as of Midnight tonight, March 13, 2017. This Snow Emergency will remain in effect until further notice.

No parking is allowed during a Snow Emergency at the following locations; Central Avenue, between Pearl Street & Sturrock Street and Main Street between Central Avenue and Lincoln Street. A snow emergency will be announced on both WNBT and KC101. Parking will be allowed after the snow is removed.
