NTL teams compete at 2017 District Championships
Tioga County’s track and field athletes took to Williamsport High School on Thursday, May 18 and Saturday, May 20 to represent their schools at the District IV championships, with hopes of making it to this weekend’s PIAA State Championships at Shippensburg University.
The Wellsboro brother-sister duo of Dupree and Dahlia Hosey both qualified for States. Dupree qualified in the long jump on Thursday with a 2nd place finish with a jump of 21-ft, 7-in. Dahlia qualified in the triple jump on Saturday with a 2nd place finish by jumping 36-ft, 1.25-in.
