MU Hosts Open Forums on Ukraine with Dr. Polyuha
The chair for the Department of Languages and Cultures, Mykola Polyuha, presented an educational and personal informational talk at Mansfield University about Ukraine. He was born in Ukraine and now holds citizenship status in Ukraine and the United States.
He has been a professor at Bloomsburg University for the past ten years. He feels that he must let others know about the history of his native country and how the war is endangering the people of not only his homeland but the world. He believes that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is standing firm for democracy for all.
The presentation length of approximately 40 minutes also included a time after for questions from those who attended.
When listening to his presentation, you realized how many struggles the people of Ukraine have already overcome. That is the hope that Professor Polyuha has for the present situation. He stressed how important it is for the people of Ukraine to know the world wants this war to end soon too. They are very grateful for all of the support that the different countries and peoples have given them.
In this video presentation, he lists all of the reasons Russia’s president gives for the invasion.
Please continue to pray for the people of Ukraine and the end of this conflict. Please check out the websites listed below if you would like to send financial aid.
