The Mansfield University Campus Cupboard hosted a Carnival event on Saturday, April 6, in South Hall Mall of Mansfield University.

This event featured a series of games including ring toss, bean bag toss, knockout, and a highly anticipated Water Pong Tournament. Winners of this Water Pong Tournament received a professionally-crafted red solo cup trophy. Participants were able to play the games previously mentioned in order to receive raffle tickets for prizes that were drawn at the end of the event. Prizes included a mountain bike, an Amazon Echo, Amazon Fire, gift baskets, and a series of gift cards donated from local businesses. Free pizza, donuts, snacks, and refreshments were also available. With over 50 students attending the event, the MUCC was thrilled with the promotion the Carnival garnered for their services.

Cay McNichol, the winner of the Mountain Bike said, “The Campus Cupboard Carnival was such a fun event with lots of games and prizes to be won. I even won a Mountain Bike I cannot wait to use”.

The MU Campus Cupboard would like to thank Night and Day Cafe, Papa V’s Pizzeria, Phoenix Rehabilitation, and Health Services, Dunkin Donuts, Highland Chocolates, Hanna’s Nail Spa, and Native Bagel, for their generous donations at this event. The MUCC would also like to thank those who made food and cash donations helping to add 37 pounds of food to the shelves of the Campus Cupboard.

The Mansfield University Campus Cupboard is a service at Mansfield University, run by the Social Work Club, that aims to provide various food and hygiene products for free to Mansfield students, no questions asked.
