Mounties Roll to 54-28 Victory Over NEB
An 18-point first quarter by North Penn-Liberty led the Mounties to a 54-28 NTL Small School Division win over Northeast Bradford on Wednesday, January 20.
Mountie senior Noah Spencer scored a game-high 20 points, with 12 of those coming in the opening quarter to give Liberty an 18-1 lead. The Mounties’ offense kept firing on all cylinders in the second quarter for another 17 points, extending their lead to 35-10 at halftime.
Liberty’s Brandon Thompson was also a major factor in the win, scoring 16 points and grabbing 9 rebounds. Colton Litzelman and Koleton Roupp added 7 points each while Derek Litzelman and Kyle Davis scored 2 points each.
Lucas Crown scored 16 points for Northeast Bradford.
The win improves the Mounties to 3-0 overall to start the 2020-21 season and 3-0 in the NTL Small School Division. The team is back in action on Friday at North Penn-Mansfield.
