The Warriors took an early lead off a Camden Route three-pointer, but after that basket it was all Mounties. Liberty went on a 13-2 run to close out the quarter to build a 13-5 lead, then later extended it to 28-15 at the half with a 15-point second quarter.
North Penn-Liberty increased their lead in the third thanks to an 18-point quarter. The Mounties led 46-23 entering the final quarter, which Canton managed to outscore them 12-6, to pick up the win.
Noah Spencer led the Mounties with a game-high 16 points. He started the first quarter with 8 points then scored 7 of his final 8 during Liberty’s third quarter 18-8 run. Duncan Zeafla scored 10, Logan Horsley added 9, and Klayton Roupp pitched in with 6.
Horsley also grabbed 9 rebounds and blocked 2 shots, Brandon Thompson added 8 rebounds, Roupp made 3 assists, and Zeafla came up with 6 steals.
