Miss Central Mountain Jocelyn Renninger Crowned Laurel Festival Queen

On Saturday, June 19th the 2021 Laurel Festival Queens Coronation Ceremony was held.

This year’s ten final candidates were:
Miss Saegertown Amber Costello
Miss Montoursville Lydia Barbour
Miss North Penn-Liberty Ryann Upham
Miss Bucktail Angela Inta-Laura
Miss Wellsboro Alexis Banik
Miss Central Mountain Jocelyn Renninger
Miss Williamsport Alayna Dake
Miss North Penn-Mansfield Aubrey Gryce
Miss Mount Carmel Lauren Shedleski
Miss Williamson Madisen Cody.

During the event, the candidates were asked a variety of impromptu questions. This year’s judges, Jake Miachels, Renata Stiehl, and David Cohick convened to deliberate.

The title of Miss Congeniality, as voted by all the candidates, was given to Miss Williamsport, Alayna Dake. Miss Saegertown, Amber Costello, was named Second Runner-Up. Miss Williamsport, Alayna Dake, was also named First Runner-Up. Finally, Miss Central Mountain, Jocelyn Renninger, was crowned as the 2021 Pennsylvania State Laurel Festival Queen.
