Meet the Candidates!
Primary Election Day is coming up on May 19th with polls opening at 7:00 AM. Candidates are busy meeting people, shaking hands and doing their best to get their message out to area voters. To help give people in our community the chance to meet the candidates, The Republican Committee of Tioga County hosted a “MEET THE CANDIDATES” event – which took place this past Wednesday, May 6th at the Tokishi Training Center in Wellsboro. This was primarily an opportunity for the voters to meet and visit with those candidates seeking the Republican nomination for the offices of County Commissioner, County District Attorney, District Judge and Tioga County Register of Wills, Recorder of Deeds and Clerk of the Orphans’ Court. Wellsboro Home Page cameras were there to capture the event.
For those of you who could not make the event, you can click on the videos below. The top video features each candidate’s opening statement in it’s entirety and the bottom video features the Q & A session that followed. Please remember that your vote counts. Do your home work and go to the polls and celebrate your freedom by voting for your candidates of choice on May 19th. You can find out more about all the candidates running by going to Tioga Freedomist.
