Mason Woodward: Troy Trojans Three Sport Athlete
The Troy Trojan football team was very successful this year even though they were very young. Part of that success can be attributed to the senior leadership provided by Mason Woodward. Setting the tone early in the season by creating big plays himself, Woodward encouraged his younger teammates to do the same, propelling them to a 9-3 season.
That success from football carried over into wrestling where Mason recorded a 32-11 senior season. He wrestled exceptionally in the postseason, ending the season with a fifth place finish at the PIAA Regional Tournament.
