Creature Care: Introducing Dr. Shaw
Grand Canyon Veterinary Hospital offers the full services of a general practice veterinary hospital including surgery, vaccinations, wellness care, treatment for allergies and ear problems, a dog kennel, cat boarding, and more.
Dr. Shaw’s dream job began with a little white kitten that her family had growing up. The kitten was suffering from ear mites and had to be taken in to see the local veterinarian. The vet came and got Dr. Shaw and took her into the back of the hospital and let her look into the microscope to see the ear mites. Those moments changed Kristine’s life forever. She concluded that this had to be the greatest job in the world. Nothing has changed much. We hope you enjoy today’s special broadcast feature.

As one of Tioga County’s most common threats, flooding can be sudden, expensive, and dangerous, but often times flooding actually can be preventable. More specifically, we can reduce the risk of flash flooding by eliminating the illegal dumping of trash and household hazardous waste onto riverbanks and into streams.
