Mansfield Days premiers this coming Saturday along with Commonwealth University–Mansfield’s Homecoming. One of the many fun things to do on Saturday will be to visit the Dancing Lights Saloon at the Mansfield Foundation patio.

Dr. Smythe will be on hand to introduce the new drink that was just invented in 1893 – the root beer float. Your float will even be served in a commemorative mug!

Costumed characters will welcome everyone back to the 1890’s. While you are on the Mansfield Foundation patio, stop over to the Gate House where Joyce Tice will have historic information about the 1890’s.
