Live Fearless at His Thousand Hills
His Thousand Hills has been serving our community since 1979 and this year there are even more opportunities to enjoy their camp and retreat center!
Their week long summer camps are ready to begin! This year’s theme for camp is “Fearless”. The goal is to help kids and teens overcome fear by walking in faith and trusting in God. Not only will they learn about being fearless, but there’s so much fun in the adventure! The facilities at the camp include, a 40-foot climbing wall (with highly trained facilitators assisting), human foosball, archery, and a gym for playing inside hockey, basketball, roller skating, and so much more. They’ll have fun games for everyone to play, and time for campers to get to know one another at a deeper level.
Parents, be assured that campers are in good hands at HTH.
There are:
-Certified Instructors
-Highly trained staff
-2 Councilors in every cabin
-Onsite Emergency Teams
-Healthy meals
-The love of Christ is shared
Operations Manager Julia Moss says, “We don’t turn anyone away from camp for financial reasons.” His Thousand Hills welcomes everyone with open arms and loving hearts. HTH encourages parents to seriously consider camp this year. The priority of the HTH staff is and always has been to provide the attending campers with tons of fun and a spiritually meaningful experience. They see great value in children and teens, and they want to light that fire with God’s Word. Testimony after testimony has been made by both counselors and campers, of how their lives were changed forever through camp. Camp is not about the money or about the number of people attending, it’s about reaching out and changing someone’s life for the better.
