Last week, thousands gathered in downtown Wellsboro to celebrate and participate in the annual Pennsylvania State Laurel Festival. For 80 years, residents and visitors from across the state have congregated in Tioga County to enjoy a plethora of activities and events, including a children’s health fair, pet parade, concerts, shopping, dining, arts & crafts fair, parade, 10k footrace and queen pageant!

Temperatures on Saturday were markedly lower than recent years, but the sunshine and pleasant breeze still made for an enjoyable atmosphere for attendees.
