Laurel Festival 2019 | Part 2
On Saturday evening, June 15 – the Laurel queen candidates and surrounding communities gathered in the Deane Center for the coronation ceremony. Miss Wellsboro, Ariana Carlton was named Miss Congeniality. Miss North Penn-Liberty, Briauna Wilson was named Second Runner-Up. Miss New Covenant, Hannah Colegrove was presented the title of First Runner-Up. And finally – the 2019 Laurel Queen was chosen: Miss Millville, Allison Diehl.
“Oh my goodness, I am so excited,” said Miss Diehl, upon winning the crown. “This has been such a fun weekend. I met so many amazing people, and so any outcome tonight would have been great, but I’m very excited and happy about it.”
Allison Diehl will be a senior in the fall, so her future plans aren’t certain at this time. However, she is interested in pursuing a career in marketing or speech pathology.
