Lady Trojans Rally to Defeat Lady Black Knights in Four Sets
The Troy Lady Trojans delivered a thrilling comeback victory on Thursday night, defeating the Towanda Lady Black Knights 3-1 in front of a lively home crowd.
Towanda came out swinging in the opening set, trading points with Troy before edging out a close 25-22 win. But from there, the momentum shifted sharply.
The second set saw a fiery response from the Lady Trojans, who stormed back with a commanding 25-11 win, setting the tone for the rest of the match.
Towanda battled hard in the third set, keeping pace and forcing a tense back-and-forth finish. However, Troy held strong, clinching the set 26-24 and seizing control of the match.
In the fourth and final set, the Lady Trojans powered through with confidence, sealing the night with a decisive 25-16 victory.
With the win, Troy improves their standing and builds momentum heading into their next matchup. The Lady Trojans will host Williamsport on September 9th, while Towanda looks to bounce back when they travel to face Williamsport on September 8th.
