Lady Tigers Display Grit in Homecoming Week Volleyball Opener
The Galeton Lady Tigers kicked off Homecoming Week on Monday, October 6th, hosting the Otto-Eldred Lady Terrors on the volleyball court.
Otto-Eldred came out strong, dominating the first set 25-11. The Lady Tigers regrouped in the second, taking an early lead and showing renewed energy—but the Lady Terrors fought back to steal the set 25-18.
Riding that momentum, Otto-Eldred closed things out in the third set, 25-15, securing a 3-0 sweep over Galeton.
The Lady Tigers will hit the road next Monday, October 13th, to face Sayre. Homecoming festivities continue Saturday with a parade and the boys soccer game against Northern Potter.
