On Wednesday, October 8th the North Penn-Mansfield Lady Tigers hosted the Wellsboro Lady Hornets on the soccer field in Smythe Park. Here’s what happened.

With just under 8 minutes left before halftime, Carly Blackwell sets it in mid to Kate Bryant – banger off the crossbar – GOAL! Wellsboro up 1.

The Tigers respond thirteen minutes into the second half. Brooke Wilcox on the fast break, deflects off the keeper, and walks in the score; tying it up – one all.

Both keepers kept the ball out of their nets for the remainder of regulation and two overtimes – closing out the game with a tie, 1-1.
