On Wednesday, January 22nd the North Penn Liberty Lady Mounties basketball team hosted the Wellsboro Lady Hornets – and the game concluded with a crazy comeback.

The Lady Hornets took an early lead and held their momentum, ending the first half on top 19-13.

The third quarter looked to be much the same at first. The Lady Hornets stayed steadily ahead. By the end of the third, Wellsboro still on top – 23-15.

Fourth quarter, everything changed. The Lady Mounties rallied. Wellsboro stayed with them to the very end. But the Lady Mounties pressured down with Litzleman drawing a foul – securing the two-point victory 32-30.

The Lady Mounties will be on the road again tonight at Wyalusing, while the Lady Hornets travel to Cowanesque Valley.
