Lady Hornets Rally Against North Penn-Liberty, 3-1
On Tuesday, September 10 the North Penn-Liberty Lady Mounties volleyball team hosted the Wellsboro Lady Hornets.
The Lady Mounties took an early lead with a commanding first set, 25-14. The Lady Hornets rallied in the second set, cinching it 25-20. Wellsboro and North Penn-Liberty fought tooth and nail in the third, with the Lady Hornets pulling ahead 25-22. And finally, the Lady Hornets rallied once more and claimed the fourth set, 25-19 – winning the match sets 3-1. The Lady Hornets will be back on the court at Athens on Thursday, while the Lady Mounties travel to Northeast Bradford.
