The Canton Kindergarten class presented “A Day in the Country” to their parents, families, and fellow students this past Wednesday, May 14th. Their performance was based on Old McDonald Had a Farm, but also included Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush, This Old Man, Skip to My Lou, and many other classic children’s songs that told the story of being down on the farm.
The entire class had fun themed costumes, props, and set pieces to accompany their performance, donated by Melody Kitchen. Jenn Wile accompanied their songs on the piano. A special thank you to the kindergarten aides, Desiree Shepard and Faye Spencer, the CASD Maintenance Team, the CASD Tech Support Team, the CASD Administrative Team, and parents and families for supporting their students all throughout this school year. This performance could not have happened without the help of all these individuals.
