The “Blossburg Together” Facebook group was started in March of 2020 to assist Blossburg area residents in obtaining information related to the pandemic – a time when people needed reliable information and a safe place to ask for assistance.

Users must agree to group terms of keeping information factual, on topic and with a positive attitude before they can post comments.
What information can you find here?

Fundraising Information and events – such as dinners and raffles held by area community and school groups along with dates of Blossburg’s famous chicken BBQ’s.
School cancellations, late starts and road conditions.

Missing a pet or looking for a pet? Check out the frequent posts related to these requests.

Announcements from area churches, clubs and area community groups about meeting dates and special events.

Former residents sometimes ask about a person or business they remember from their past and names, dates and sometimes photos are shared.

The best part of Blossburg Together is how it can help those who need assistance. A simple request for snow shoveling delivery of groceries or meals to someone who is home bound is overwhelmed with assistance.

Heartfelt thanks-yous and comments of appreciation for requested and unsolicited services and well wishes are frequently expressed.
