Jim Smith: Head Coach of the Troy Trojans varsity football team
Many of us have dreams and aspirations early in our lives. Jim Smith had a dream of becoming a varsity football coach. He got that opportunity starting in 2011 and has been coaching the sport he loves ever since.
Smith, the Troy Trojans’ head varsity football coach, has helped lead his teams to 77 victories, 2 NTL titles, and a District IV championship. They are very impressive accomplishments for a coach that did not start as an assistant, but went right to top position.
Coach Smith sat down with Craig Route of Coaches Corner to discuss his coaching career and this upcoming season. Check out the video for all the details.
