Jeeps, Poker, and Helping Critters
Sydney Spencer joins us today on The Home Page Network to tell her story about the Jeep Poker Run, which took place in the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon on November 7th. Sidney and her Dad, Mike Spencer, put the event together to raise money for Tioga County Humane Center.
Sydney and her Dad were hoping to get a few people out for the event and got a big surprise. Once again, the people in the Tioga County region delivered, and there was Jeep after Jeep after Jeep. You will have to watch today’s broadcast to find out just how many rumbled through the canyon while playing a little poker along the way.
The PA Canyon Jeepers began in April of this year. They presently have just over 400 members and are growing stronger every day. The organization is not only attracting Jeepers to Tioga County but they are also involved in doing good things in our community. If you are interested in joining this club of Tioga County-based Jeep enthusiasts, you can find them on Facebook under Pa Canyon Jeepers. All breeds of Jeeps are welcome! LOL We can’t think of a more beautiful place in the world to have this kind of fun with gatherings, trail rides, poker runs, show & shines, parades, and more!
The big winner on this particular excursion was Tioga County Humane Center and the animals in their care. Please be sure to watch today’s feature to find out how much money was raised during this special event.
Huge thank you to Sydney, her dad Mike Spencer, and all the PA Jeepers who participated, along with the sponsors of this event.
