International Games Day!

by Victoria Pearson - November 13, 2014

Are you looking for something fun to do this Saturday? The Green Free Library is hosting an International Games Day event! Home Page had the chance to talk to the coordinator, Michelle Smith and Pop’s Culture owner Julian Stam, to find out what’s happening and what games will be appearing! The American Library Association is sponsoring International Games Day events at libraries around the nation.

This is a free community event open to everyone and will be held this Saturday, November 15th from 1-4 pm. “Board games are a great way to stimulate the imagination.” says Pop’s Culture owner, Julian Stam. The event will consist of card games, board games, mind games, and more! (Watch our feature above to see samples!) All ages and families are welcomed to come down and share this fun afternoon together.

The event will take place at the Green Free Library, which is located at 134 Main Street in Wellsboro, PA 16901. If you would like more information you may contact the library at (570) 724-4876.
