Inside Wellsboro Comic Con: Organizers Reveal New Attractions for 2026
Comic book fans, artists, and pop culture enthusiasts will gather in downtown Wellsboro on Saturday, August 8, as the fifth annual Wellsboro Comic Con returns for a full day of free, family-friendly entertainment. Running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the town-wide festival will feature comic creators, authors, illustrators, vendors, cosplay, panel discussions, activities, and more at several locations throughout downtown, including the Deane Center for the Performing Arts, the Warehouse Theatre, the Deane Center lawn, and Central Avenue.
This year’s convention will welcome an impressive lineup of guest creators and presenters from across the comics, animation, illustration, and publishing industries. Among the featured guests are Bram Stoker, Award-winning graphic novelist Amy Chu, bestselling author Brandon T. Snider, and a variety of artists, writers, and illustrators whose work spans comic books, animation, children’s literature, and commercial art.
Admission to Wellsboro Comic Con is free. Organizers say the annual festival continues to celebrate the artistic side of comic culture while bringing visitors to downtown Wellsboro for a day of fun, imagination, and community.
